The Hoffman House Restaurant and Tavern is located in the Stockade Historic District at 94 North Front Street (Corner of Green Street), Kingston, NY 12401 in Ulster County.

From Hoffman House: "The Hoffman House restaurant, in the scenic Hudson Valley, started as a labor of love by Pat and Ginny Bradley back in 1975. After two years of intense restoration, The Hoffman House opened for business in June of 1977. Registered on the National Landmark of Historic Places, the building is a fine example of Early American Dutch rubble architecture featuring wide planked random width board floors, a fire place in each of the main rooms and many small multi-level rooms.

"The Hoffman House is located at the corner of the historic Stockade district in Kingston NY, and once served as fortification and lookout against Indian attacks. Today the Hoffman House serves a continental fare, featuring steaks, fresh seafood, pasta specialties and homemade artisan desserts. An open-air, beautifully landscaped garden patio enhances outdoor dining in the summer, while you can cozy up next to one of our three large stone fireplaces in the winter.

"Known for our generous lunch and dinner portions, we also offer a lite fare tavern menu. This nightly menu features our famous burgers, sandwiches, oversized salads, quesadillas, wings and more.

"The Hoffman House is regularly visited by re-enactors of the revolutionary period. The Historic significance of the building is the perfect setting that allows them to recreate and capture the era of times past."
