Long in history, Modern has been serving Westchester County since 1920. Originally a bread company, Modern evolved into one of Westchester County’s first pizzerias, and became a favorite spot for many Westchester residents to enjoy home-made food and great pizza in a casual, friendly environment. Modern Restaurant and Pizzeria re-opened in 1987 using the same name. The good, old fashioned taste of authentic Italian food and friendly service was what Modern became known for."

The word is Attractive "cool" space offering very good food, great bar, and friendly staff serving good Italian dishes. Oddly enough, the one common complaint is that they don't know how to make pizza?
